Residence Terms

Full Year Academic Residence

This is for 38 weeks from late February (one week before Trimester 1 commences) until mid November (end of Trimester 2 exams). Priority is given to full year Victoria University of Wellington students whose homes are outside the Wellington metropolitan area.

One Trimester Academic Residence

Depending on room availability, applications may be considered for one trimester residence for students enrolling for one trimester only, such as Exchange students, or students completing their degree mid year. One trimester residence agreements are for 19 weeks either from the start of the academic year to the mid year break or from the start of the mid year break to the end of the Trimester 2 exam period.

Note:
All contracts are for a fixed term. Short term stays are not normally possible during the academic year.

Applications are accepted from individuals or group of up to 5 applicants
Applications received by October 1 will receive priority for the following academic year.
