Denise Hart
is originally from Hawke's Bay has had four year's previous experience in the Accommodation Business as Deputy Head at Te Puni Village
and project work at VUW Accommodation Service. As a trained coach and in management roles for over 15 years she understands the pressures to succeed and the demands placed on students today. Living on site with her husband
Rick, son Rory, Mac and Puss they are all very much involved in the Everton environment.
Administrators
Gill Blomgren is the experienced member of our team being at Everton Hall since May 2005. She can be found in the Office during office hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Gill has many years experience in the academic arena having worked for Victoria University Student Services for over 10 years.
Linda Nicholl handles the financials including board payments. You will find Linda in the office on Thursdays and Fridays. Born and bred in Wellington, Linda completed a Commerce degree at Victoria University. When not at Everton Hall, Linda is busy being Mum to her 2 young boys.
Maintenance
Denis Thistoll looks after all of our maintenance requirements and has been part of the team since January 2009. You will soon get to know him with his friendly, helpful manner and carpentry skills. Denis’s expertise is shared between us and Te Puni Village.
Residential Assistants
We have a strong, supportive team of four enthusiastic RAs who are specially trained, senior students who live at the Hall. They cover evening office hours, assist with the day to day running of the Hall and organize social events. The RAs are scattered around the buildings and are often the first person residents contact for assistance. They also ensure the Hall rules are followed for the benefit of the whole community.

Hey guys! My name is Daniel and I'm from Hawkes Bay. This year I am in the final stages of a Bachelor of Music majoring in Jazz Performance. In my spare time I enjoy listening to, playing and writing music, and baking my own bread. I am looking forward to a great year and getting to know you all!
Flat 7- Danica Carter: B Block
Heya, I’m Danica, I’m from Rotorua and I have just started the second year of my MSc in Chemistry focussing on the flavours and aromas of Sauvignon blanc. In my spare time I like playing football, going to the theatre/movies, reading mystery/drama novels, playing old school computer games and baking desserts :) I have been at Everton Hall for three years, 2012 was my first year as an RA and I returned this year to take on the Senior RA position. I am looking forward to a great 2013 and I hope you are too!
Flat 18 – Athene Laws: C Block + 21U/LTT and 32U/L CT
Hey everyone, I'm Athene. I'm from Auckland originally and am in my final year of a BA (Economics and International Relations). In my spare time I enjoy my music, in particular playing the clarinet and piano, white water kayaking, travel and just generally living life to the full. Looking forward to meeting you all and having a great '13.
Flat 33 – Melissa Peters: D Block
Hey I’m Melissa and I’m from New Plymouth. 2013 is my fourth (and final) year studying a conjoint BA / BCA in Accounting and Political Science. I am a keen musician and theatre junkie having been involved in theatre both in New Plymouth and Wellington. I play guitar and have a love for slightly strange instruments such as my banjo and mandolin. I also love to hang out and relax with friends and a good movie. Looking forward to getting to know you all this year!!
